Oh, Sandra you got me on the Additional Resources related to Young Children and Families: "I am going to rob you of some of these resources", they are fabulous!
ReplyDeleteI also may copy some of your additional resource links. Teachers as Parents is an excellent source. Those parents know what school life is like and know what to expect from all involved. Thank you for sharing !
ReplyDeleteI am very familiar with Teaching Strategies and their Creative Curriculum! I am waiting on my own copies of some of those books! I also have heard a lot about Parents as Teachers, from teachers working with the program and parents involved with it. I was thinking about looking more into it once I become a parent myself. Thanks for listing these sources...I will have to add them to my blog, too. :)
ReplyDeleteParents as Teachers is a great website. As a teacher I feel like I have the knowledge to help my child learn and grow but I know so many other parents and families who don't have that. What a great resource for them. I will be sure to recommend it to many of my friends and parents of the students I work with. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have provided great resources and especially the website Parents as Teachers. I think this website is great as a parent resource. I will going back and saving some of these resources in my favorites and will be using them in my classroom. Good Luck!!!
